Historic Texas City Directories Online

Texas Transporation Archive owns approximately 350 city directories, telephone books, subscriber lists and gazetteers in our private collection. Selected directories are in the process of being scanned for free viewing online, and in some cases, transcribed into a text-searchable format through our Manuscript Search Engine. Business sections of directories are generally not posted online, but are included in the CD-Rom version of that directory, where available. Check the TTA store for a current list of digitized directories.
