Murry Hammond is working to produce a Rusty Rails & Dusty Trails history newsletter on the Uvalde & Northern Railway that ran from Uvalde in Uvalde County to Camp Wood in Real County. The railroad played a role in moving injured and aid in and out of Rocksprings during the 1927 Rocksprings tornado.
